Maren Otto, Vorsitzende der Werner- und Maren Otto-Stiftung, ist Sponsorin der Mendelssohn-Gesellschaft.

We gratefully acknowledge our sponsors, whose generosity enables us to cover the rent for the Mendelssohn-Remise (including the foyer). Our particular thanks go out to the Sal. Oppenheim & Cie bank, as well as to the Deutsche Bank Stiftung, WestLB Bank, M.M. Warburg & Co., the Berlin Chamber of Physicians, Berliner Ärzteversorgung pension fund scheme for physicians, Deutsche Ärzteversicherung insurance company for physicians, the Vizson Company and Ms. Edeltraut von Mendelssohn.

The exhibition "The Mendelssohns in Jägerstrasse" was developed in 2004 with support from the Jewish Community of Berlin and from the Preussische Seehandlung Foundation. Its re-opening in 2006 was made possible by grants from Deutsche Klassenlotterie Berlin. The exhibition contains items permanently loaned by the Preussische Seehandlung Foundation as well as by private individuals. We would like to thank the Cultural Affairs department of the Berlin Senate Chancellery for financing the exhibition`s lighting system.

The exhibition chapter on the "Religion of the Mendelssohn Family" features items on loan from the Staatsbibliothek Berlin Preussischer Kulturbesitz (State Library of the Berlin Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation), the Neue Synagoge Foundation, as well as from members of the Mendelssohn family.

The side exhibition "A Contrasting World: Leipziger Strasse No. 3" was shows exhibits loaned by the descendants of Fanny Hensel.
